Subject: | Nuns Sue Strip Club in Nuisance |
For those who teach nuisance in either property or tort, I thought the following case might be of interest as an hypothetical (or even exam question).
An order of Catholic nuns in Chicago is suing a strip club that moved in next door for private and public nuisance. Apparently, the steady beat of the music disturbs their prayers. (I`m not kidding.)
The news report is here. The lawyer is sending me a copy of the complaint if anyone is more seriously interested I`ll send it along.
